Creating a level playing field for BIPOC classical music instrumentalists in the United States.
The National Instrumentalist Mentoring and Advancement Network (NIMAN) is a national coalition that works to align, promote, and develop equitable opportunities and inclusive environments to advance BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) instrumentalists to thrive in classical music.
Now, more than ever, arts organizations need to focus on meeting the needs of their entire community. Membership in the National Instrumentalist Mentoring and Advancement Network (NIMAN) provides an opportunity to not only advance the mission of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra but to support NIMAN’s mission. We are proud to commit support for NIMAN to grow and succeed.
